Vet Henry Roth lives an enviable life in Hawaii, enjoying the company of endless attractive women with no ties – until the day that he meets Lucy.
Whilst they hit it off straight away there is a problem – Lucy suffers from a severe case of short-term memory loss that means that she fails to recognise Henry the next day – or the day after that – or the day after that.
This results in poor frustrated Henry having to find new and ever more imaginative ways of romancing Lucy every single day to ensure that she remains in love with him.
A strange mix of Groundhog Day and Memento this is at times a genuinely heart-warming and sympathetic romantic comedy that reunites the stars of the highly successful The Wedding Singer.
A massive cinema hit back in April this a charming, feel-good movie for all ages.
