Shy, unassuming and somewhat naiveté Andy, played by Steve Carrell (Bruce Almight), is a toy-collecting worker in an electrical store. When his fellow workers discover that he has never experienced sex they set out to remedy this life of celibacy.
However whilst his friends are determined to rectify the situation, Andy only has eyes for mother of three Trish, played by Catherine Keener, who is more interested in true love than sex.
This delightful comedy was a massive success at the cinema and features some truly hysterical scenes (a squirming and clearly improvised waxing session is uproarious), proving that Steve Carrell is a natural comic with superb timing. The script is sharp and witty and if you don’t have a cheesy grin on your face at the end we suggest you get a humour transplant.
