In this highly successful sequel to 28 Days Later, Robert Carlyle plays a man who is finally reunited with his two children after the original Rage virus has decimated Britain.
A U.S. led force begins the resettlement of Britain but they soon faces an uphill struggle to keep the virus under control.
Quiet Thames-side villages are torn asunder whilst Docklands soon resembles a char-grilled war zone as zombies are strewn across Canary Wharf.
Carlyle is excellent as the distraught and terrified survivor, desperate to care for his children (fine performances here from Imogen Poots and Mackintosh Muggleton) as panic spreads and inept attempts to eradicate the plague are doomed to fail.
The film was a great success at the cinema when released in May 2007.
