Former undercover cop Brian (Paul Walker) is down on his luck and his need for speed, as expressed in the original film, has landed him in so much trouble that he is forced to take on the most dangerous jobs just to avoid jail.
Once again teaming up with fellow street racer Roman, played once again by Tyrese, he attempts to infiltrate a group of suspect millionaire businessmen, helped by the hot and sultry Monica (Eva Mendes).
The original film was made famous by the number of high-speed car chases and races and the sequel is no exception with the major players hurtling at a ferocious pace around an urban setting. With masses of gleaming cars, even more stunts and loads of action this highly successful sequel, directed once again by John Singleton, was a massive hit at the cinema.
