| After the fire
You will undoubtedly know that in the early hours of Wednesday 22nd January our main store and head office at 75 Devonshire Road, Bexhill was totally destroyed in a horrendous fire. Thankfully nobody was hurt and our thanks go to the emergency services for their prompt response to what could have been a major tragedy.
On behalf of my wife, Ann, and my parents Peter and Barbara may I thank the huge number of our customers who have given us so much support since the fire. TVC has traded in Bexhill since 1982 and to watch 20 years effort disappear in 20 minutes was particularly hard to bear.
However the good wishes expressed by so many people, plus the tremendous support given to us by all our loyal and hard working staff, has convinced us to carry on.

| We’re back!
Almost exactly a month after the devastating fire that totally destroyed our store at 75 Devonshire Road we are back in business at our new home situated five doors away at 65 Devonshire Road. Thanks to the supreme efforts of our friends Ray Wright and Pat Connor together with Irene and Jo the new store was created in just over a week. Many of you used our Sidley branch during the month that Devonshire Road was out of action and Sue and Karen did tremendously well to cope with all the extra customers. Sincere thanks to all of you who offered sympathy, support and practical help; we really appreciated the kind thoughts, cards and best wishes.
